Simple Contamination Risk Management.

Smart environmental solutions grounded in deep technical expertise.

Approach

A simple, and thoughtful approach, focused on what is ‘best for project’.
Achieving positive outcomes by bringing clarity to risk, fostering open collaboration, and building a shared understanding of your goals and priorities. This alignment enables practical, confident decision‑making and consistently delivers results that are both effective and purposeful.

Services

  • Cut through complexity with on‑demand expertise.
From contamination risks to remediation strategies, due diligence to liability management — get the specialist support your projects and portfolios need to move forward with confidence. Flexible engagement models (ad‑hoc, retainer or embedded support) ensure you quickly uncover major risks, unlock opportunities, and map out practical pathways to resolution.

  • Experience matters — especially when working within impacted communities.
This service is designed to support your project by engaging with communities in a way that is transparent, empathetic and technically grounded. Whether working directly with stakeholders or as part of a broader communications team, we bring specialist expertise in simplifying and presenting complex technical information clearly and respectfully.

By recognising the emotional burden that affected communities often carry, we shape communication approaches that are grounded in respect and clarity. Through uplifted knowledge, community members are empowered to participate meaningfully, guide the narrative, and engage in open, honest and collaborative dialogue.

  • “Known unknowns” and “unknown unknowns” are an inevitable reality when dealing with contaminated land.

Whether contamination is confirmed or only suspected, uncertainty can introduce significant risk to your project. Because uncertainty is inherent in contamination science, our focus is on bringing clarity to that risk and developing simple, practical mitigation strategies that support confident decision‑making.

We work seamlessly across the project lifecycle — partnering with planning and approvals teams, supporting tender development, and working directly with design and construction teams on the ground. Our approach ensures potential risks are understood early, managed effectively, and integrated into project delivery without unnecessary complexity.

    Our services include:

    • Tender and Design Support — translating investigation findings into practical controls, construction considerations, and bid requirements to reduce uncertainty and avoid scope creep.

    • Preparation of Contamination Management Plans (CMPs) — developing clear, risk‑based procedures to guide the safe handling, segregation, tracking and management of contaminated materials during works.

    • Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs) — preparing targeted, contamination‑specific components of CEMPs, ensuring contractors have clear environmental requirements, controls, and monitoring expectations.

    • On‑Site Support During Construction — working directly with design and construction teams to clarify risks, interpret unexpected findings, and adjust controls as conditions change.

    • Regulatory liaison and compliance support — ensuring management plans, controls and documentation meet relevant statutory requirements and are aligned with approvals.

This integrated approach ensures contamination risks are managed consistently from tender through to delivery, supporting safe, compliant and efficient construction outcomes.

  • Confident decisions start with strong site knowledge — and that begins with an assessment you can rely on.
We deliver clear, defensible insights backed by technical rigour, helping you move forward with confidence and clarity.

    Our site assessment services include:

    • Phase 1 Preliminary Site Investigations (PSI) — comprehensive desktop reviews, historical analysis and site inspections to identify potential issues early.

    • Phase 2 Detailed Site Investigations (DSI) — tailored sampling and intrusive investigation programs that define site conditions with precision.

    • Tier 1 & Tier 2 Human Health and Ecological Risk Assessments — advanced evaluation of actual and potential risks to people and the environment.

    • Soil Vapour Assessments — characterising vapour pathways and intrusion risks to support accurate risk modelling and mitigation.

    • Lease Entry & Exit Baseline Assessments — establishing accurate, defensible environmental baselines to support negotiations, leasing obligations and ongoing compliance.

    • Spoil Management & Waste Classification — efficient, compliant characterisation and management of soil, spoil and waste materials.

    • Remediation Action Plans (RAPs) — practical, risk‑based remediation strategies aligned with regulatory requirements and project objectives.

  • What is monitored can be managed. Environmental compliance requirements are often hidden and or forgotten. Our services can support the integration of compliance monitoring within business systems and support a regulatory document review and submissions.

About

Greg Stratton, Director & Principal Environmental Scientist

After more than 25 years working in contaminated land investigation and remediation, I’ve learned that the work isn’t just about science or regulation — it’s about protecting people, places, and futures. That belief sits at the heart of why I founded my business.

Over the years, I’ve become recognised as a PFAS remediation specialist, but what drives me most is delivering outcomes that genuinely matter. I’ve built a reputation for taking a pragmatic, risk‑based approach to achieving site closure — solutions that work in the real world, not just on paper.

I’ve led multidisciplinary teams, navigated complex negotiations with auditors and regulators, and helped shape national programs. I’ve also sat across from local communities, listening to their concerns, truly understanding the human side of environmental contamination.

Starting my own business was a natural step. It allows me to bring together everything I’ve learned — technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a commitment to quality and care — and focus it on helping clients achieve meaningful, lasting results.
