After more than 25 years working in contaminated land investigation and remediation, I’ve learned that the work isn’t just about science or regulation — it’s about protecting people, places, and futures. That belief sits at the heart of why I founded my business.

Over the years, I’ve become recognised as a PFAS remediation specialist, but what drives me most is delivering outcomes that genuinely matter. I’ve built a reputation for taking a pragmatic, risk‑based approach to achieving site closure — solutions that work in the real world, not just on paper.

I’ve led multidisciplinary teams, navigated complex negotiations with auditors and regulators, and helped shape national programs. I’ve also sat across from local communities, listening to their concerns, truly understanding the human side of environmental contamination.

Starting my own business was a natural step. It allows me to bring together everything I’ve learned — technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a commitment to quality and care — and focus it on helping clients achieve meaningful, lasting results.

Project Highlights

  • Cost to Closure

    Delivery of a cost‑to‑objective program across more than 50 fuel distribution facilities.
    Led a structured, risk‑based approach to achieve guaranteed regulatory closure for sites transitioning to residential or commercial land use. The program integrated efficient investigation, remediation and risk management strategies to ensure each facility met its agreed land use objectives with audited outcomes.

  • HMAS Cerberus

    Remediation of a former fire training ground through excavation and encapsulation in a purpose‑built lined containment cell.
    This site became the first within Defence’s PFAS program to successfully transition into long‑term environmental management. The project delivered a cost effective remediation solution and established a pathway for sustainable, risk‑based PFAS management across similar Defence sites.

  • THIS IS A TEST ON WHAT HAPPENS

    Defence PFAS Branch

    Remediation advisor embedded within Defence’s PFAS Investigation & Management Branch.
    Providing specialist guidance to support the development of PFAS policy and to steer consultants and contractors toward achieving Defence’s priority: reducing PFAS-related risks as far as reasonably practicable. This role combines strategic oversight with on‑the‑ground technical support to ensure consistent, risk‑based decision‑making across the programs and extended project teams.

  • Bandiana Military Area

    Delivered preliminary and detailed site investigations, comprehensive human health and ecological risk assessments, and remediation planning documentation for Defence’s PFAS Investigation Program.
    As the lead consultant, this work established a clear understanding of site conditions and risk pathways, forming the technical basis for robust, defensible remediation strategies across multiple Defence locations.
    In parallel, community engagement activities were integrated to ensure transparency, build trust, and support stakeholders in understanding complex technical information. This approach helped create open, informed dialogue and strengthened community confidence throughout the investigation and remediation process.

  • Moorebank Intermodal Terminal

    Investigation and remediation planning for a 220‑hectare site with multiple co‑mingled contamination risks.
    Delivered comprehensive site assessment and remediation planning documentation, including detailed remediation option appraisals for two former fire training grounds. All works were successfully completed under the oversight of a statutory environmental auditor, ensuring transparent, defensible and compliant outcomes for this complex, multi‑source contaminated site.

  • Jervis Bay Range / HMAS Creswell

    Delivery of a multi‑stage remediation program incorporating new drainage systems, infrastructure replacement, demolition works, groundwater and surface‑water treatment, and targeted soil excavation.
    The program addressed complex, interrelated contamination challenges through a coordinated and technically robust remediation strategy.
    Throughout delivery, the project was supported by routine engagement with the Wreck Bay Aboriginal Community, ensuring open communication, cultural awareness, and shared understanding as works progressed. This collaborative approach helped provided the community with clear, accessible updates on remediation activities and outcomes.

  • RAAF Townsville & Lavarack Barracks

    Remediation investigations, remedial design, and planning for multiple source areas across both bases.
    Delivered a coordinated program of investigations and remediation design addressing numerous complex contamination sources. Remediation planning was informed by whole‑of‑base and area‑specific mass‑discharge/flux assessments, completed prior to works to optimise the remediation approach and establish defensible pre‑remediation baseline conditions. This systematic, data‑driven method ensured targeted, efficient and technically robust remediation outcomes across both sites.

  • Corporate Environmental Management

    Environmental Manager for a major NSW electricity distribution corporation, overseeing a diverse and continually evolving portfolio of environmental challenges.
    The role included responsibility for the management of 100+ contaminated sites, involving liability estimation, prioritisation of investigation and remediation activities, and strategic oversight of environmental risk across the asset base. This work required balancing operational demands with long‑term risk reduction, ensuring regulatory compliance, and guiding investment in site assessment and remediation to deliver defensible, cost‑effective outcomes.
